the Local Demographic leaflet
that includes purely demographic projections up to 2020 (per gender and 5-year age groups)
or
the Local Labour Landscape leaflet detailed data including, besides demographics, projections of the labour force and of potential employment, all per gender, age and educational attainment, up to 2020. It shows High and Low scenarios for the Labour force. It also includes data on distribution per race, origin and European ancestry or, in Europe, per nationality.
These leaflets can be made available down to US county level, or for Metropolitan Areas, or for any tailor-made area (i.e. including any list of counties), or also for any European region down to NUTS2 level.
All leaflets for the USA include the corresponding data for the State and for the USA as a whole.
All leaflets for European regions include the corresponding data for the country and elements of comparison at EU-15 and EU-25 level.
USA leaflets
Whenever relevant, the charts include a ranking (“that county ranks number 2153 in 3140” for the variable considered) and a 13-grade rating (from 6a for the highest growth or the highest values down to 6b for lowest, based on thirteen quantiles of the overall distribution of counties), that tells how it compares with other places. For all tailor-made areas, each variable is given its rating based on the scaling against the distribution of all 3140 counties.
The Local Demographic leaflet comprises 185 charts and the complete tables (.PDF), making 70 pages that you can print (preferably on a colour printer).
The Local Labour Landscape leaflet comprises 270 charts and the complete tables (.PDF), making 90 pages that can be printed.
